The Women’s Philanthropy Society of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville is pleased to announce the availability of grant funding for projects or programs supporting mental health for women and families in the Greater Huntsville area.
The Women’s Philanthropy Society – established for women by women – is Huntsville’s first permanent grantmaking endowment that seeks to make a positive difference in the lives of women and families across a broad spectrum of issues that impact the Quality of Life in our community.
Each year, the fund awards a high-impact, high-dollar grant that addresses systemic change and that creates positive and measurable impact for women and families. For 2019, the Women’s Philanthropy Society has chosen the focus issue of mental health for women and families.
Priority will be given to projects that meet the following criteria:
- Strategically address the focus area
- Involve more than one agency or organization and are collaborative in nature
- Address a desired systemic change
- Provide clear and measurable outcomes
