The Weeden House Museum, located in Huntsville’s historic Twickenham District, was the home of several distinguised early Huntsvillians. The Museum preserves the 1819 Federal structure and shares the life and artwork of Maria Howard Weeden, poet and watercolorist famous for portraits of freed slaves, who resided in the house 1846-1905.
