Mission

AOD provides education and training opportunities to low-income families. Our primary effort is providing life-changing job-training scholarships to low-income adults. These “Learn and Earn” scholarships enable low-income adults to earn their way out of poverty in high-demand career skills that they can complete in two years or less. Our annual community career fair targets job seekers without degrees and introduces them to multiple employers and other community resources.

This Nonprofit Directory contains the 501(c)(3) organizations located in Greater Huntsville and nonprofits headquartered outside Greater Huntsville that have a strong nexus in our community. Greater Huntsville includes Madison, Limestone, Morgan, Marshall, and Jackson Counties in Alabama.
