HUNTSVILLE, Alabama, December 11, 2020 – Investor’s Resource, a Madison wealth management firm, is pleased to announce the establishment of the Investor’s Resource Gratitude Fund with an initial grant of $200,000 to the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville.

This fund will support non-profit projects within Alabama on an annual basis through a donor advised fund. Employees of Investor’s Resource will have input into the program grants, helping deserving non-profits in the community on an ongoing basis.

“In honor of our 20-year anniversary, we wanted to make a substantial gift that reflects our mission and core values.  We believe in giving back when we are blessed, and this gift demonstrates our deep commitment to focusing on philanthropy and your ultimate contribution.  In the end, it’s about making a difference and leaving the world better place,” comments Shari Burnum, a 30+ year financial veteran and founder of Investor’s Resource.   Burnum was on the Founding Board for the Community Foundation in 2009.

“In this Season of Giving, we celebrate the commitment of Investor’s Resource to give back to this community in such a meaningful way.  We celebrate their 20 years of service and look forward to many more years of this valuable partnership with this team of community leaders,” says Melissa Thompson, the CEO/President of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville.
