HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville hosted a Giving Tuesday press event December 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber to celebrate local philanthropy because we believe that together we can accomplish more than any one individual, company, or organization can accomplish alone.
Giving Tuesday is an internationally recognized day of charitable giving that kicks off the holiday season with a spirit of generosity. The following companies within the Community Foundation’s Corporate Giving Network presented their grants at the community-wide Giving Tuesday celebration:

This collective celebration provided 57 grants totaling $790,964.00 to local organizations making our great community even better. The Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville serves as a catalyst to improve the quality of life in our community through philanthropy.
