“We are very pleased with the turnout at our inaugural meeting of this new network,” said Stuart Obermann, President/CEO of the Community Foundation.  “Our hope is that the CGN will allow corporate grantmakers an opportunity to learn from each other, exchange best practices, and better understand the giving priorities of their peers.  This may also lead to more collaboration among grantmakers, which would produce a greater impact for their charitable investments in our community.”

The CGN will meet quarterly and will offer a variety of topics related to corporate philanthropy.  For more information, call 256.535.2065 or email cgn@communityfoundationhsv.org
