HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville announced today that NPUHuntsville Conference is now NAVIGATE Nonprofit Network Conference.
Ann Kvach, Program Officer of the Community Foundation, states, “NPUHuntsville has a rich history of serving the nonprofit organizations that serve our region, with over 500 participants registered for last year’s conference. We are working hard to take this annual professional conference to the next level for the benefit of all of our participants, and we believe that this name change will help us do so.”
The name NAVIGATE Nonprofit Network Conference was selected to reflect the dual purpose of the event to help nonprofit organizations in navigating the many challenges they face each day and to provide a collaborative networking event by bringing nonprofit professionals, volunteers, and board members together for a day of professional development.
Melissa Thompson, CEO/President of the Community Foundation, shares, “As we enter a new decade, we know that the demands on the time and resources of the nonprofit organizations that serve our community will only continue to grow. At the Community Foundation, we are committed to investing in building the capacity of those who are on the front lines of this important work. We are excited about this year’s conference as together we navigate a better, brighter future for our communities.”
UPDATED: NAVIGATE Nonprofit Network Conference will be held on Tuesday, August 18, at the Von Braun Center North Hall. Registration for NAVIGATE will open on Monday, June 1.
